Champagne Minière F&R
Champagne Minière F&R is a premier Grower Champagne house run by brothers Frédéric and Rodolphe Minière in Hermonville, the estate has a rich history dating back to 1919. Inspired by a foundational mentorship under the legendary Anselme Selosse in 1995, where Frederic Miniere was introduced to organic farming methods and barrel vinification, the brothers decided to stop selling their grapes to large houses and start bottling under their own label in 2005 to create an intense and terroir-driven champagne. Situated on the unique, sandy-clay and lacustrine limestone soils of Hermonville - completely distinct from Champagne's typical chalk, the 8-hectare estate focuses on power, texture, and precision. Adhering to strict natural principles, all base wines are vinified in old oak casks without malolactic fermentation. With extended lees aging ranging from 3 to 7 years, Minière F&R produces high-tension, vinous champagnes that beautifully capture the raw energy of their centenarian and old-vine parcels.
