The domaine is run by Jerome and Jocelyne Castagnier who
work the 4 hectares of vines, annual production is just around 20,000 bottles. At the heart of the Côte de Nuits, no fewer than 4 Grand Crus (Clos Saint Denis, Clos de la Roche, Clos de Vougeot, and Charmes Chambertin) are produced on the prestigious soils of
Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-St-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny and Vougeot. With a permanent concern for quality and respectful of the environment, harvesting by hand preceded by thinning out the grapes, traditional fermentation and maturing in oak barrels for 18 months, enable them to produce these great Bourgogne wines. The estate uses biodynamics and environmentally-friendly techniques.
