Chateau Tirecul La Graviere

“Monbazillac AOC: magnificent sweet wines”

Monbazillac, a French appellation dedicated to botrytized wines, has always lived in the shadow of Sauternes but things have changed since Claudie and Bruno Bilancini took over the famous “Cru de Tirecul” delineated in the XVIIIth century.

This steep clayey slope, located on the bank of the Dordogne River, is a privileged terroir for the development of botrytis cinerea and the estate dedicates all its efforts to produce top-class sweet wines out of incredibly low yields.
