The Moutard family is well established in Champagne and the actual winemaker, François Moutard, is the heir of the tradition, experience and know-how of the family. The estate manages 22 hectares located in Côte des Bars, a vineyard of Southern Champagne representing 20% of the whole region and planted on a clayey-calcareous terroir similar to Chablis that authorizes to plant a wide diversity of varietals, all harvested by hand. Moutard dedicates its efforts to express and develop this potential offering an interesting range of wines. In order to release the Champagnes at full maturity, all the wines are aged a minimum of 3 years in bottle.
