Tasting Note
Only 1002 bottles produced. 100% Verzenay Grand Cru. Located in the Northern slopes of Montagne de Remis. This parcel is called “Les Grandes Voyettes”, divided into two, upper part planted with Chardonnay since 2013, lower part planted with Pinot Noir since 1953. This has complex notes of bread crust, crushed rock, lemon rind and dried apple. Touch of salted caramel, too. It’s medium-bodied with delicious yeasty undertones and lively bubbles. Pinot noir and chardonnay. Drink now. Dosage: 2-3g / litre; Disgorged in October 2021.
