Here too there is enough wood to merit pointing out on the airy, cool and pretty essence of red and dark currant, spice and violet-scented nose. The refined and intense flavors exude an almost aggressive minerality that carries over to the chalky, dusty, balanced and youthfully austere finale that is noticeably firmer. This wine always ages well and I would expect the 2022 version to do so as well. Only 250 bottles were produced.
