Here too moderate wood sets off a similar if perhaps slightly more floral-scented nose. Once again there is very fine density to the solidly rich medium weight flavors that also exude evident minerality on the more powerful and ever-so-slightly drier finish where the wood resurfaces. This is very good as well though I have a mild preference for the Hautes Côte de Beaune stylistically speaking. Only 5,000 bottles were produced.
