Tasting Note
A very fresh, cool and beautifully layered nose freely reveals aromas of acacia blossom, citrus confit and a beautiful array of spice wisps. There is excellent size, weight and mid-palate density to the big-bodied and powerful flavors that culminate in a lemon, very clean and hugely long mineral-driven finale. This muscular effort is a block of stone at present and I would advise not touching a bottle for the first 7 to 8 years. With that said, if you can find it, and intend to cellar it, don''t hesitate as this is a knockout of a Corton-Charlemagne.
