An excellent wine for this humble appellation in this challenging vintage. Full, maturing black cherry fruit with some savory and rooty character. A bit more structure than the nose suggests, but this gives it a healthy backbone. Long, moderately dry finish with some earthy complexity. Drink: 2028+
