Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer, Echezeaux du Dessus Grand Cru 2020 1.5L

An exuberantly floral-suffused nose speaks of a plethora of spice elements on the black cherry and wood toast aromas. There is impressive density to the suave, round and dense larger-scaled flavors that also coat the palate with dry extract before culminating in a powerful yet refined and sneaky long finish. This too should amply repay at least some forbearance.
