Jean-Michel Guillon, Marsannay Les Quenicieres 2024

(2018 was the first vintage for this wine from young vines that will probably be one of the future Marsannay 1er crus). Moderate wood is present on the pretty aromas of violet, red currant and wet stone nuances. There is fine volume and richness to the slightly denser flavors that display solid length on the delicious finish where the only reproach is a touch of warmth. This could easily be enjoyed young or held for 4 to 7 years first.
