The 2017 Hautes Côtes de Nuits is excellent, bursting with aromas of ripe cherries, cassis, espresso roast and grilled meats. On the palate, it''s medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a fine chassis of chalky tannin, ripe acids and a long finish. This certainly punches above its weight for the appellation.
