Egon Muller, Scharzhof Riesling 2025

The 2025 Scharzhof is precise and fresh on the intense and elegant nose that reflects a typical Saar character with bright and intense fruit aromas intertwined with seed, saline and slaty notes. Lush and round yet immediately precise and refined on the palate, with a fine phenol grip, this is an intense, juicy, even mouth-filling but structured Scharzhif Riesling that is based on grapes fro the 1.5 hectares in the Saarburger Rausch but also the Wiltingen crus Scharzhofberger, Rosenberg, Braungeld and Kupp. Tasted as a sample in March 2026.
