Domaine Patrick Javillier, Meursault Cuvee Tete de Murger 2022

An exuberantly floral-suffused nose is comprised by notes of ultra-fresh Granny Smith apples, crushed fennel, citrus peel and a hint of quinine. The medium-bodied flavors are not quite as dense as those of the Clousots but they''re noticeably finer while offering a pungent minerality on the youthfully austere, clean and bone-dry finale. This is also terrific as it''s rare to find villages-level wines of this caliber.
