From a .33 ha holding on the southern end of the Chassagne side. This also reflects subtle wood influence on the elegant, pure and airy aromas of white peach, acacia blossom, spiced pear and a whiff of exotic tea. The succulent and equally gorgeously textured larger-bodied flavors display impressive power while coating the palate with dry extract that also serves to buffer the firm acid spine supporting the wonderfully persistent finish. This wine always ages well and the 2022 version should more than amply repay extended keeping. Tasted by Allen Meadows in June 2024.
