A distinctly leesy nose is firmly reduced. Otherwise there is both good freshness and verve to the concentrated, powerful and quite serious large-scaled and mouth coating flavors that flash evident minerality on the driving, structured and impressively long finish. This is a big Chevalier that will definitely need at least 5-ish years to become civilized and very likely 10 to 12 to reveal its full potential.
