The 2017 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is also showing beautifully from bottle, bursting with aromas of cherries, licorice, peonies and sweet soil tones. On the palate, it’s full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with a deep and layered core of concentrated fruit, succulent acids and a long, expansive finish.
