Les Referts sits on the northern boundary of Puligny-Montrachet, directly adjacent to Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes. Because of its proximity to Meursault and slightly deeper clay-limestone soils, Les Referts typically exhibits a rare balance: the floral, steely precision of classic Puligny paired with the broad, rich, and rounded mouthfeel of Meursault.

Made from 60 year old vine and aged in 30% new oak. Beneath a golden robe with emerald highlights, the bouquet suggests butter and warm croissant, fern, dried fruit, spices, and honey. The body and bouquet become indistinguishable, so perfectly do structure and harmony merge into one. Smooth and firm, dry and caressing, enveloping and profound, it possesses every grace. Only 300 bottles made.
