Champagne Franck Bonville, Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Pur Avize 2018

The 2018 Pur Avize Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs is showing well today with a more mineral, chalky character than Pur Oger. It reveals aromas of ripe orchard fruits, chalk, flowers, lemon oil and citrus. Medium to full-bodied, crystalline and pure on the palate, it is vinous and round, with a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids, a pinpoint mousse and a long, saline finish enhanced by gastronomic bitterness.
