This is also quite generously oaked with a touch of menthol on the aromas of ripe dark berries, plum and earth. There is good vibrancy and detail to the delicious if decidedly rustic flavors that are a bit raspy on the youthfully austere finish. This is not without certain appealing aspects, but refinement isn''t one of them.
