Champagne Rousseaux-Batteux, Verzenay Grand Cru ''Les Chauffours'' 2019

Only 980 bottles made. This Verzenay Grand Cru comes from the parcel of Les Chauffours which was planted in 1972 and 1973.  Only the best juice from the pressing was used for this champagne, the ''coeur de cuvee''. It is vinified in oak barrels. Which adds extra complexity. The result is a beautifully sleek, precise and tasty champagne. This is a 100% Pinot Noir Brut Nature with zero gram of dosage, bottled in June 2020, and disgorged in May 2023.
