The 2017 Wiltinger Braune Kupp Auslese is intense yet clear and flinty on the ripe and generous, slightly honeyed but precise and slatey nose. Lush, round and juicy on the palate, this is a crystalline, tightly structured and persistently mineral Auslese with a long, slatey-piquant, pretty mouthwatering and finely racy finish. The sweetness is well balanced and lush and bears a highly stimulating salty-mineral grip. A gorgeous Auslese from the Kupp. Tasted from AP #10 in June 2019. Drink from 2030-2080.
