There is a background hint of petrol to the cool and pretty aromas of essence of apple, citrus zest and a whiff of crushed fennel. There is outstanding volume and richness to the decidedly punchy middleweight flavors that possess a beguiling texture on the balanced finale. This is a Bourgogne that could be enjoyed young or aged for up to five or so years to good effect.
