Fine dark red colour. Immediately powerful, high class nose, not leathery but showing that the wine is going to be intense and strict. Very rich fruit, extremely powerful, light superficial evolution but so intensely youthful underneath. This vintage combines the great and the good. Definitely a dark fruited style. To keep another five years ideally. Tasted by Jasper Morris in June 2018.
