From the plot of Les Murots and La Platière in Gevrey Chambertin. This is aromatically similar to the Père Galland but a bit more restrained. There is even better mid-palate concentration to the bigger-bodied flavors that coat the mouth and buffer the firmer tannic spine supporting the robust, balanced and impressively long finish.
