Moderate wood influence stops just short of fighting with the aromas of green fruit, citrus, iodine and shellfish. As is typically the case there is better volume to the powerful big-bodied flavors that are blessed with ample dry extract that also serves to buffer the firm lemon-tinged acidity supporting the more complex, balanced and muscular finale. This is a little woody at present but should be able to integrate the oak with a few years of bottle aging.
