Jean-Michel Guillon

Wine-grower since 1980, after his retirement from aeronautics, Jean-Michel Guillon is at the head of a 13-hectare domain located on the slopes of Gevrey-Chambertin. He has built up the Domaine and its reputation from scratch with the help of his good friend and mentor Rene Galland, a local winegrower.

He has started the tradition of passing  on the family business to his son Alexis, as passionate as his father he has been working in the estate since 2005.

The wine range included 18 appellations, Mazis-Chambertin, Clos de Vougeot,  Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey Saint-Denis…

For Allen Meadows, Jean-Michel Guillon’s wines “retain a clear sense of style and grace and remain identifiably pinot noir”.
