De Lisio is an Italian with over 30 years of grapes plantation and winery experience, his legend started in 1992 in McLaren Vale, Southern Australia.
De Lisio started his wine career by working in grapes plantation at many boutique wineries, from there he has learnt much about how the local soil and climate affect the growth of grapes. Thereafter, De Lisio moved to work in a larger-scale winery and learnt about the process of wine brewing. All the wines he has produced are highly rated in the renowned Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate.
In 2007, De Lisio and his wife Krystina founded their own vineyard and winery named De Lisio. The vineyard mainly grows Shiraz, Grenache and Pinot Gris / Griogio. The wines at De Lisio are aged in oak barrels for 22 months before selling. Currently, the winery is able to produce 7,000 cases of wine annually and they are distributed to American, Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong and China.
